helps travelers get the compensation they deserve for flight disruptions. Their platform blends industry expertise with advanced automation to make claims fast, fair, and transparent.

As the company scales globally, they're building an internal technical core after years of relying on external Salesforce consultants. This role is the first in‑house Salesforce hire and will own a mission‑critical platform supporting thousands of daily claims and increasingly intelligent automation.

Role Overview

We are seeking a hands‑on Salesforce Developer to become the first internal Salesforce resource, owning development, integrations, and platform direction. You'll design scalable systems, integrate Salesforce with Azure‑hosted services, and support AI‑driven automation in a fast‑moving environment.

This role is ideal for someone who wants ownership, autonomy, and the opportunity to build Salesforce from the ground up inside a rapidly growing company.

Responsibilities

Salesforce Development & Ownership

  • Build and deploy Apex, LWC, Flows, and platform automation.
  • Own end‑to‑end Salesforce delivery (no external architect/BA).
  • Establish coding standards, performance best practices, secure data models.

Integration with Azure-Hosted Services

  • Integrate Salesforce with cloud microservices via REST APIs + OAuth.
  • Build secure async data flows (Batch, Queueable, Platform Events).
  • Partner with backend team on API design; no Azure admin work required.

Intelligent Automation Support

  • Build automation that plugs into AI‑powered services (Agentforce, Einstein, Azure AI).
  • Support low‑touch workflows (claim processing, regulatory checks, notifications).
  • Enable human‑in‑the‑loop logic where needed.

Collaboration & Delivery

  • Translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Work alongside internal teams and consulting partners during handover.
  • Iterate quickly without heavy bureaucracy.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years hands‑on Salesforce development (Apex, LWC, Triggers, Flows).
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with cloud‑hosted systems via REST APIs + OAuth.
  • Experience building async integrations (Queueable, Batch, Platform Events).
  • Comfortable owning solutions without a BA or architect.
  • Platform Developer I required (PDII or Integration Architect preferred).

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to AI‑enabled workflows (Agentforce, Einstein, Prompt Builder, Azure AI).
  • Experience moving off external consulting models.
  • Experience in travel, insurance, claims, or regulatory workflows.
