We support children, youth and adults with intellectual and/or physical disabilities in Brandon and Westman.
Community Respite Service Inc. is seeking a supportive, empathetic, motivated, and reliable Respite Worker to join our team

The following fixed TERM position is available October 20th, January 18, 2026. Possible extension and/or renewal.
Monday - Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm (36 hours a week)
The day consists of supporting two adult Participants. Own vehicle is required.
A. Morning routine (dressing, toileting, feeding, personal hygiene/grooming) and afternoon program (socialization).
B. Accompany to day program (supervision, follow programming, safety of Participant).
Key Abilities: Communication, organization, work independently, maintain confidentiality, make decisions and demonstrate an ability to work with Participants in our program.
Applicants must possess:
Prior experience within disability community an asset.
Grade 12 education
Proficient English Skills (oral and written)
Criminal Record Check (including vulnerable sector), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check. (Completed within the last 3 months)
The cost of the required checks will be reimbursed after the completion of 500 hours with CRS.
Post-secondary education or previous experience
Valid Class 5 Driver's License and access to a vehicle (mandatory)
Wage: $ $19.25 (based on experience)
Interviews will be conducted at mutually convenient times.

Contract length: 3 months
Pay: $17.25-$19.25 per hour
Expected hours: 36 per week
