Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Assistant Manager to support our management team in overseeing daily operations and ensuring exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for fostering a positive work environment. This role requires effective communication, time management, and the ability to handle various responsibilities to drive business success.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing daily operations, including staff supervision and scheduling.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain cash handling procedures.
  • Support the recruitment process by participating in interviews and onboarding new employees.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop sales strategies and meet business goals.
  • Maintain inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
  • Train staff on company policies, procedures, and best practices for customer engagement.
  • Uphold company standards for cleanliness, safety, and compliance.

Requirements

  • Must pass criminal records check
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or management role is preferred.
  • Strong math skills for cash handling and financial transactions.
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus to enhance communication with diverse customers.
  • Proficient in customer service principles with a focus on building relationships.
  • Experience in sales or retail environments is advantageous.
  • Strong phone etiquette for effective communication with customers and vendors.
  • Must have open availability and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends or holidays as needed.
