Job Title: Projects – Execution Coordinator III

Location: Calgary, AB

Length: 12 months (with a high likelihood of extension through project completion)

Rotation: 5 days on / 2 days off

Description:

This position supports a major oil sands project with a focus on Cat Tailings. The successful candidate will join the project team based in Calgary to assist in the safe, environmentally sound, and cost-effective execution of work activities.

Main Functions:

  • Provide leadership to ensure job scope is executed safely and effectively in support of long-term project reliability.
  • Evaluate the potential impact of events and support resolution between involved parties.
  • Work within both the client's and contractor's systems and processes.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Project Engineer in managing execution-related issues, particularly those arising from the complexity of the project and multiple contractors operating in the same area.
  • Demonstrate and promote a strong commitment to workplace safety.
  • Provide support to the Project Team as directed by the Project Engineer.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline required.
  • Experience in upstream oil & gas design, engineering, or project management in an EPC environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Deep technical background in project execution.
