Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Saturday Service Advisor Assistant to join our team in a fast-paced automotive environment. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for the Service Advisor and customers, ensuring their needs are met while providing exceptional service. This role requires a blend of customer service skills, mechanical knowledge, and sales ability to effectively communicate with customers regarding their vehicle repair and maintenance needs.

Duties

  • Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival.
  • Assess customer needs by asking questions about vehicle performance and issues.
  • Provide detailed explanations of recommended services and repairs, ensuring customers understand the work required.
  • Upsell additional services based on customer needs and vehicle condition.
  • Process customer transactions, including cash handling and payment processing.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service history, and follow-up communications.
  • Collaborate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services and repairs.
  • Address customer concerns or complaints with empathy and professionalism.
  • Stay updated on automotive technology trends and dealership offerings to provide informed recommendations.

Skills

  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on building rapport with clients.
  • Proven ability in upselling services to enhance customer satisfaction and dealership revenue.
  • Proficient in cash handling procedures and financial transactions.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge or experience in automotive repair is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with dealership operations and processes is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey technical information clearly.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for managing multiple tasks effectively.
  • Sales experience in an automotive or related field is advantageous.
