Prodapt is part of the 130-year-old business conglomerate The Jhaver Group, which employs over 30,000 people across 80+ locations globally The Product Owner – Managed Services Transformation (MST) is accountable for driving the automation and service assurance roadmap of a large-scale managed services transformation program for a Tier-1 telecom operator.

Looking for a Technical Product owner with 10+ years experience who can bridges business objectives and technology enablement, ensuring that automation, observability, and AI/ML-driven operations are prioritized, delivered, and adopted effectively in Toronto, CA.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and own the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for Managed Services Transformation – covering automation, observability, and AI/ML operations use cases.

  • Translate transformation goals into user stories, features, and acceptance criteria that drive measurable operational improvement (MTTR reduction, automation %, service uptime).

  • Partner with Solution Architects, DevOps, and Platform Engineering teams to define enablers and technical dependencies.

  • Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, and program increment (PI) sessions as part of Agile (Scrum/SAFe) delivery.

  • Define automation opportunities across service management, incident resolution, and network operations.

  • Work with the AIOps and Data Engineering teams to prioritize development of data pipelines, event correlation models, and alerting frameworks.

  • Align with the key technical stakeholders to ensure cross-platform compatibility and shared delivery models.

  • Define metrics and dashboards for transformation success, including operational KPIs and automation ROI tracking.

  • Serve as the primary liaison between business sponsors, transformation office, and engineering delivery teams, ensuring alignment of product backlog with contractual outcomes.

Requirements

Required Skills and Experience
  • 10+ years of experience in IT / Telecom Managed Services or Automation-led transformation programs.

  • 4+ years as a Product Owner or Technical Product Manager with Agile delivery experience.

  • Strong background in Service Management (ITIL v4), Service Assurance, and Operations Transformation.

  • Proven track record of defining and prioritizing backlogs for automation, observability, or AI/ML-driven products.

  • Familiarity with AIOps platforms (Moogsoft, BigPanda, Dynatrace, ServiceNow, etc.) and DevOps pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).

  • Understanding of event-driven architectures, microservices, and API-based integration patterns.

  • Excellent analytical, stakeholder management, and leadership skills to navigate cross-functional transformation environments.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have
  • Exposure to telecom OSS/BSS systems, fault and performance management, and cloud-native automation frameworks.

  • Hands-on understanding of GCP/AWS cloud services, Python/Ansible-based automation, or AI/ML model integration.

  • Experience defining product success metrics and value realization frameworks for transformation programs.

  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Grafana, Prometheus, Kafka, ServiceNow, Jenkins, and Postman.
