8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
(Monday to Friday)

JOB DESCRIPTION
RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review of plans, details and specifications for upcoming projects from plans and specifications focused on roofing and waterproofing details.
  • Communicate with the design authority and end user i.e., contractor, as to specifics of the expansion joints configuration.
  • Prepare expansion joint layouts on
    AutoCAD
    for quoting purposes based on reviewed expansion joints layouts by design authority or customer.
  • Create custom expansion joint details for non-standard conditions, on a project-to-project basis
  • Work alongside other drafting technicians to coordinate workload and collaborate on more demanding projects as needed.
  • Maintain organized and timely deliverables for sales and production departments.
  • Communicate deadlines and timelines clearly and consistently with sales and quotations departments.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be proficient in 2D AutoCAD, 3 years + experience.
  • Excellent written and oral communication.
  • Fluency in English a must.
  • Excellent Communication skills required, be able to discuss details at a technical level with customers and design authority.
  • Able to read architectural drawings/blueprints.
  • Reliable and keen eye to detail.
