Job Summary

As an HVAC Technician, you will install, service, and maintain residential heating and cooling systems while delivering an exceptional customer experience. You'll have access to fully stocked trucks, all tools provided, and strong training support in a professional, safety-first environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service, maintain, and repair residential HVAC systems.
  • Diagnose technical issues and ensure safe, efficient operation.
  • Perform quality inspections and preventive maintenance.
  • Communicate clearly with customers about repairs and recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate service records and uphold company standards.
  • Work safely and comply with all provincial HVAC codes and regulations.

Qualifications

  • Valid Gas Technician II (G2) license (required)
  • Valid 313D Air Conditioning Mechanic Certificate of Qualification (C of Q)
  • Valid ODP card and Class G driver's license
  • 3–5 years of hands-on HVAC field experience
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer-service skills
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and eager to grow within the company

Compensation

  • Union Unifor 199 (Kingston, Brantford, Cambridge, Sarnia, London):
  • $37.96/hr during probation (6 months)
  • $40.01/hr after probation
  • Union UA 787 (Ottawa):
  • $38.29/hr
  • Vacation: Two (2) weeks + two paid personal days (prorated first year)

Schedule

  • Full-time, permanent position
  • Monday–Friday; overtime available as needed
