The Opportunity

We're seeking a Founding Engineer for a 90-day contract with potential conversion to full-time based on performance and mutual fit. This role offers the rare opportunity to help take something from 0-1. Shaping not just the product, but the entire company culture.

What You'll Build

• Core product systems that bring next-generation file management to life
• AI automation workflows that intelligently name, organize, and retrieve files
• Cloud infrastructure that scales reliably across enterprise environments
• User interfaces that make complex AI systems simple and intuitive
• Integrations with platforms like Google Drive, OneDrive, and SharePoint
• Production systems based on real customer feedback and rapid iteration

Your First 90 Days

Success in this trial period means:

• FileMind operates reliably in live customer environments
• Core AI workflows deliver measurable value to users
• Full product features are connected and running in production
• Customers see tangible improvements in file organization and retrieval
• Engineering foundations are established for team growth

Who You Are

The Builder: You have extensive hands-on experience through personal projects, startups, hackathons, or open-source contributions. You code because you love solving problems.

Technically Strong: Comfortable with backend systems and infrastructure, with eagerness to own full-stack features. Experience with APIs, distributed systems, and production-ready development.

AI-Ready: Understanding of modern AI implementation—embeddings, retrieval systems, and language model orchestration. Ready to work with cutting-edge frameworks like LangGraph and Kubernetes.

Self-Driven: You set daily goals and execute until complete. Comfortable learning new technologies quickly and figuring things out independently.

Customer-Focused: Obsessed with solving real problems, not attached to specific solutions. Willing to rebuild based on user feedback.

Entrepreneurial: Motivated by ownership, equity, and building something category-defining rather than just collecting a paycheck.

Technology Stack

You'll work with modern tools including Kubernetes, , Google Apps Script, Microsoft SharePoint extensions, and AI development frameworks. We leverage AI coding assistants to dramatically accelerate development speed.
