Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your expertise in the food industry and your ability to create a welcoming atmosphere will enhance our customers' experience.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
  • Keep cafe clean is more important.
  • Operate the Micros POS system for order processing and cash handling, ensuring accurate transactions.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food preparation stations and equipment.
  • Assist with food preparation and serving, adhering to food safety standards and guidelines.
  • Manage time effectively during peak hours to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
  • Uphold food handling practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
  • Perform basic math calculations for cash handling and inventory management.

Requirements

  • Previous barista experience is preferred, along with familiarity with the food service industry.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
  • Proficient in using POS systems, particularly Micros POS, for efficient order processing.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory tracking.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations is essential.

Note:- In this role there is not just a coffee making all the things is important like cleaning the cafe is more important for all customer to visit at clean place. also the front side cafe as well as backroom of cafe to manage and maintain these are the main tasks which are very important for this role.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00-$15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
