Overview

We are seeking a passionate and reliable Yoga Instructor to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate has experience teaching yoga, communicates clearly, and creates an inclusive environment for students of all levels. This role offers the opportunity to support clients on their health and wellness journey while contributing to a positive, community-focused atmosphere.

Responsibilities

  • Lead safe, engaging yoga classes suitable for mixed-level groups and different age ranges
  • Develop and adjust class plans to accommodate varying needs and abilities
  • Demonstrate proper alignment and provide clear, effective verbal cues
  • Offer modifications and progressions to ensure accessibility for all participants
  • Foster a calm, welcoming atmosphere that encourages mindfulness, relaxation, and personal growth
  • Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and a positive teaching style
  • Communicate effectively with students, addressing questions or concerns
  • Support studio culture by keeping the environment clean, organized, and inviting
  • Represent the studio with warmth, reliability, and exceptional client care

Experience

  • Experience teaching yoga classes in a studio or group fitness setting
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with diverse groups
  • Ability to teach mixed-level classes and adjust sessions as needed
  • Customer-service mindset with the ability to motivate and inspire students
  • Experience working with different age groups or special populations is an asset
  • Yoga training or certification is preferred but not required

Compensation

  • $25–$35 per class, based on experience
  • Opportunity to take on additional classes as the schedule expands
  • Potential for specialty workshops or private sessions
