Schedule: Fridays 4:00 PM – Saturdays 10:00 PM (1.5 day weekly)

Location: Square One area, Mississauga

Compensation: $200 per weekend

Job Summary

We are looking for a compassionate and reliable caregiver to provide weekend support for our family while the full-time caregiver is away. The role includes caring for an elderly gentleman, occasionally helping with childcare, and assisting my mother and other family members with household tasks to ensure a safe, comfortable, and supportive home environment. Please do NOT ignore instructions in the 'How to Apply' sections of this application.

Responsibilities

  • Assist elderly gentlemen with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility).
  • Provide companionship and ensure safety.
  • Occasionally watch and care for a baby as needed.
  • Helping the family with household tasks (meal preparation, laundry, dishes, tidying, etc).
  • Ensure medications are taken on time.
  • Maintain a positive, family-oriented environment.
  • Note: From approximately 9:30 PM to 7:30 AM is generally quiet time, allowing the caregiver to rest while remaining available if needed.

Qualifications

  • Previous caregiving and/or childcare experience preferred.
  • Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
  • Able to balance elderly care, childcare, and household responsibilities.
  • Comfortable working in a family home environment.
