Now Hiring: Youth Forensic Clinician

Location: Fort St. John & Dawson Creek, BC (travel required)

Hours: 17.5 hours per week

Wage: $40–$50/hour (based on education and experience)

About the Role

The Fort St. John Association for Community Living (FSJACL) is seeking a compassionate and skilled Youth Forensic Clinician to join our professional team.

This position works within Youth Forensic Psychiatric Services (YFPS) — a specialized provincial program providing mental health assessment and treatment for young people involved in the Youth Criminal Justice System.

Working in collaboration with another clinician, you will provide therapeutic services, assessments, and consultation to support youth with complex needs in achieving positive mental and behavioural health outcomes.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, or a related discipline

Reliable transportation for travel to Dawson Creek and regional service areas.

3 years experience in youth mental health, trauma-informed, or forensic practice preferred.

Registration or eligibility with a recognized professional body (BCACC, RCC, RSW, etc.)

Employment Details

Hours: 17.5 per week

Compensation: $40–$50/hour

Vacation: 3 weeks + 10 sick/personal days after 1 year

Start Date: As soon as possible

Relocation Support: Financial assistance and transition support available for qualified candidates
