Due to our ongoing growth and success in Canada, we are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Finance team

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized professional with 2–3 years of corporate accounting experience (not in accounting firms). The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, vendor relationships, month-end and year-end closings, and bookkeeping adjustments.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and with AI systems, and must have advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure data accuracy
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks Online
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely payments
  • Support bookkeeping adjustments and general ledger entries
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support financial and operational activities
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and reporting deadlines

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of corporate accounting experience (not in accounting firms)
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online (mandatory)
  • Advanced Excel and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience using or adapting to AI-driven tools is an asset
