Business Analyst II – Point of Sale

Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Business Analyst II – Point of Sale (POS) who will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, manage timelines, document processes, and act as a key conduit between stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical capabilities, excellent documentation skills, and the ability to coordinate and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather, analyze, and document complex business and project requirements across multiple teams involved in POS device rollouts.
  • Advocate for project requirements, ensuring alignment during planning and execution phases.
  • Develop and manage detailed work-back schedules, timelines, and targets to meet project deadlines.
  • Capture and document end-to-end processes and procedures to support teams within the Merchant Solutions group.
  • Coordinate with business, technical, and operational teams to ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality.
  • Provide clear communication, documentation, and status reporting to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Desired Skill Set:

  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and MS Project.
  • Strong requirements gathering and documentation skills.
  • Excellent organization, time management, and communication abilities (written and verbal).

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience working on Point of Sale (POS) device projects.
  • Prior banking or financial institution experience.
  • Vendor management experience.
