Job Title: Child & Youth Worker

Location: Port Perry, ON

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement goal-focused activities and individualized programs for children and youth.
  • Support clients through behavior management strategies and skill development.
  • Maintain accurate case notes, reports, and documentation in accordance with agency standards.
  • Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team to support client goals and progress.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal, organizational, and administrative skills.
  • Participate in recreational activities, requiring physical strength, balance, mobility, and endurance.
  • Uphold professional communication standards, both written and verbal.
  • Utilize basic computer skills for documentation and communication.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Child and Youth Work or a related Social Services field.
  • Valid CPR and First Aid Certification.
  • UMAB Certification.
  • Valid Immunization Record and TB Test Results.
  • Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) and Child Welfare Record Check (BSC).
  • Full COVID-19 Vaccination.
  • Valid 'G' Class Driver's License and clean Driver's Abstract.
  • Eligible to work in Canada.
  • Access to a computer and personal email for work-related communication.

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
