Fortinet Configuration Engineer

We are seeking a Fortinet Configuration Expert for a short-term engagement with a major organization in Montreal. The consultant will play a critical role in rebuilding, configuring, and stabilizing the organization's network environment.
This is a full-time assignment
Key Responsibilities
Rebuild the network configuration in alignment with the designed architecture
Collaborate with ISP providers to debug and stabilize internet uplinks at a new location
Configure and optimize Fortinet network components
Stabilize, maintain, and support the network and related infrastructure
Provide knowledge transfer to permanent staff at the conclusion of the engagement
(Optional/Bonus) Perform cabling or patching if required
Required Skills & Experience
Proven expertise in Fortinet configuration (firewalls, VPN, routing, switching)
Strong understanding of enterprise network design and troubleshooting
Experience working directly with ISPs to resolve connectivity issues
Ability to stabilize complex network environments and provide reliable support
Strong communication skills in English; fluency in French is highly preferred
Professional presence and ability to work seamlessly under client direction

Start Date: December 1, 2025
End Date: March 31, 2026
Commitment: Full-time
