Job Title: Mommy & Me Music Instructor (Singer/Musician)

About Us:

we are a boutique family-oriented studio that offers unique early childhood programs for babies, toddlers, and their caregivers. We create a warm, fun, and engaging environment where music, movement, and sensory play come together to support child development and parent-child bonding.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Female Singer/Musician based in North York to lead our Mommy & Me music programs. The ideal candidate will be comfortable performing for and interacting with babies, toddlers, and parents in a group setting. No prior experience in Mommy & Me classes is required—we will provide training in our program structure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Mommy & Me music and movement classes for children ages 4 months–3 years and their caregivers
  • Sing nursery rhymes and children's songs live during class (strong vocal ability required)
  • Encourage group participation and create an engaging, welcoming atmosphere
  • Follow Kidsville's structured class format while bringing your own personality and creativity
  • Ensure sessions are fun, interactive, and developmentally appropriate

Qualifications:

  • Strong singing ability (required)
  • Must reside in North York, Toronto (or nearby)
  • Energetic, engaging, and comfortable with babies, toddlers, and parents
  • Responsible, reliable, and punctual
  • Ability to connect with caregivers and children in a warm, professional manner

Pluses (not required):

  • Experience as a mother/parent, with natural familiarity of nursery songs and routines
  • Ability to play guitar (or other instrument) to accompany singing
  • Background in music, early childhood education, or performance

Schedule & Compensation:

  • Flexible part-time schedule (weekday mornings/early afternoons)
  • Compensation discussed upon interview, based on experience and availability
