Account Payable in Freight Forwarding

The AP Executive is responsible for managing the company's accounts payable (AP) processes, ensuring accurate and timely payment of vendor invoices, maintaining effective relationships with vendors, and supporting the overall financial health and operational efficiency of the company.
Responsibilities
- Receive, review, and verify invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
- Enter and upload invoices into the accounting system.
- Maintain positive and effective communication with vendors and respond to their inquiries.
- Reconcile vendor statements with Quickbooks.
- Reconcile AP transactions, prepare AP aging reports, and assist in month-end closing activities.
- Generate and analyze financial reports related to accounts payable.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements as needed.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to address and resolve ongoing payment disputes efficiently. This includes verifying the accuracy of invoices, ensuring timely communication with clients, and documenting all actions taken to achieve resolution.

Pay: $40,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
