Position Summary

We are seeking an Inventory Coordinator to join our Operations team. This role plays a critical part in maintaining accurate inventory levels, coordinating material orders, and supporting both production and service teams. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify purchase requisitions and clarify unclear items
  • Obtain price quotations from suppliers and negotiate as needed
  • Order materials and maintain optimal stock levels
  • Adjust inventory to resolve discrepancies
  • Review bills of materials from the design team and ensure stock availability for new jobs
  • Prepare and monitor purchase orders, ensuring specifications, price, and availability
  • Maintain relationships with vendors to ensure quality, timely delivery, and compliance with contracts
  • Assist with stock management, pulling materials for jobs, and supporting shipping/receiving when required
  • Update production schedules and maintain accurate inventory records
    Support staff in locating materials and maintaining extra or discontinued inventory

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory management, purchasing, or a related role
  • Proficiency in MS Office (intermediate Excel, Outlook, Word); Syspro knowledge is an asset
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
    Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
