Role: Culinary Intern - Business Expansion & Kitchen Operations
About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated Culinary Intern to support our company's expansion by developing a comprehensive business expansion plan and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for operating the kitchen department. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in culinary operations management and franchising processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the management team to understand current kitchen operations.
- Research and analyze best practices for kitchen management and franchising standards.
- Develop a detailed business expansion plan focused on kitchen operations for franchise rollout.
- Prepare clear and comprehensive SOPs for kitchen department processes, ensuring consistency and quality across franchise locations.
- Assist in designing operational workflows, kitchen layouts, and staff training materials.
- Support in coordinating with other departments (e.g., procurement, quality control) for seamless franchise integration.
- Participate in periodic review and update of SOPs based on feedback and operational needs.
Learning Objectives:
- Gain experience in business planning and operational documentation in the culinary sector.
- Understand franchising requirements and standardization processes.
- Develop skills in process mapping, culinary operations management, and cross-functional collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Strong interest in culinary operations and business development.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office or equivalent tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

- Duration: As per Academic requirements
- Location: Must visit facility to closely observe kitchen operations
- Certification of Completion provided
