Job Description
Under the direction of the Principal, the Early Childhood Educator:

partners with the classroom teachers(s) to plan and implement a full day early learning program;

collaborates in the design of high quality and effective play-based programs and environments;

supports enhanced physical, cognitive, emotional and social development within the context of a Catholic learning environment, as part of the Early Learning program team.

Required Qualifications
an Early Childhood Education diploma or degree;

registration with the Ontario College of Early Childhood Education;

recent experience with kindergarten age children preferred;

current First Aid and CPR certification.

Minimum Two Years Experience,
In addition, the following will be considered an asset:

Bilingualism,

Experience working in a school setting.

Status: Casual Early Childhood Educators must be available to work on call during regular school hours at various school locations.

Annual (or Hourly) Salary: These are casual positions with an hourly rate of $26.79 plus 4% in lieu of vacation.
