Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join our Kindergarten. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing engaging lesson plans, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting students in developing their English language skills. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' academic growth and communication abilities. Candidates should possess strong communication skills, a love for teaching, and the ability to adapt to diverse learning needs.

This position is located in Suwon-si, South Korea. Housing will be provided for the duration of the one-year teaching contract. A four-year bachelor's degree is required. Prior experience teaching or tutoring English is highly valued, along with relevant certifications or degrees in Education or English.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans tailored to students' age (4-7 years old) and proficiency levels
  • Create an engaging classroom environment that encourages active participation and critical thinking
  • Assess students' progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback
  • Incorporate multimedia and interactive tools to enhance learning experiences
  • Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance
  • Foster a supportive atmosphere that promotes language acquisition and confidence
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum improvements and extracurricular activities

Experience & Qualifications

  • A four-year bachelor's degree (minimum requirement)
  • Prior experience teaching or tutoring English, preferably in an academic setting or language institute
  • Strong command of the English language, including grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation
  • Experience designing lesson plans and assessments aligned with curriculum standards
  • Familiarity with educational technology tools and digital resources for language instruction
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for working effectively with students from diverse backgrounds

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $2,600.00-$2,900.00 per month
