Our client is one of Canada's leading professional services firms, recognized for its excellence and commitment to quality. They are currently seeking an experienced
Document Specialist
to join their After-Hours team. This fully remote position offers the opportunity to work 12-hour shifts, three days per week. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in producing accurate, high-quality work, this could be the perfect fit for you.

Your Role

As a Document Specialist, you will act as the technical expert for all document production and formatting needs, providing after-hours support across various departments. Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating and managing document production requests, setting clear expectations, and ensuring deliverables are completed accurately, confidentially, and efficiently.
  • Preparing, editing, and finalizing a wide range of business and legal documents using multiple formats (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, and Visio), ensuring consistency, clarity, and proper formatting.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving formatting issues, converting file types, and enhancing document usability, accessibility, and visual presentation.

What You Bring

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within a legal or professional services environment
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong client service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently in a high-volume, detail-oriented environment
  • Exceptional accuracy and proofreading skills
  • Availability to work either Monday–Wednesday or Wednesday–Friday, 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM

Training

The successful candidate will be required to attend office training during standard business hours (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM) for approximately 3 to 6 weeks. After training, the role transitions to a fully remote schedule.
