Senior Sales Manager – Corporate & Wedding Events

Are you a hospitality sales leader who thrives on creating unforgettable guest experiences and driving business growth?

We're partnering with a leading hospitality group that manages some of the most iconic venues in Greater Vancouver. They're looking for a Senior Sales Manager to lead and grow their weddings and corporate events business across their flagship properties.

This is a strategic, high-impact role where you'll blend sales leadership, business development, and creative package design to elevate event experiences and maximize revenue.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and grow event sales across weddings, corporate functions, and group bookings.
  • Develop and execute creative strategies to drive year-round bookings, including off-peak activations.
  • Build strong relationships with planners, corporate partners, tourism operators, and local networks.
  • Oversee and mentor a small but mighty sales team, setting clear targets and driving results.
  • Design and package bespoke event offerings that meet diverse client needs — from intimate weddings to large-scale corporate gatherings.
  • Represent the brand at industry events and act as an ambassador for excellence in guest experience.
  • Partner closely with marketing to drive visibility, promotions, and CRM initiatives.
  • Use data and reporting to optimize sales performance and uncover new opportunities.

What You Bring:

  • 7+ years of sales and team leadership experience in hospitality, tourism, events, or F&B.
  • Proven ability to drive new business, close deals, and build strategic partnerships.
  • Strong understanding of seasonal tourism flows and how to optimize off-peak opportunities.
  • Experience with weddings, corporate events, or venue sales is a strong asset.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
  • Confidence with CRM systems and data-driven decision making.
  • A creative, entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for crafting unforgettable experiences.
