Job Summary

We are seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating nutritional problems while providing expert dietary advice to patients. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. The Dietitian will also utilize electronic medical records to document patient interactions and progress.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for patients, considering their medical history and dietary needs.
  • Develop individualized meal plans and nutrition education tailored to each patient's requirements.
  • Provide counseling and support to patients regarding dietary changes and healthy eating habits.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care for patients.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient interactions using electronic medical records systems.
  • Stay updated on the latest nutrition research and trends to provide evidence-based recommendations.
  • Participate in community outreach programs to promote healthy eating and nutrition awareness.

Experience

  • A Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a clinical setting or healthcare environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
  • Proficiency in computer operation, including experience with electronic medical records systems.
