Role Description

We are seeking a passionate Carnatic Music Teacher to inspire and educate students of all ages. The teacher will conduct engaging theory and practical lessons, tailoring classes to suit different learning levels while nurturing creativity and confidence.

Responsibilities:

Teach Carnatic music theory and practical lessons

Cover fundamentals like Ragam, Talam, Swaram, Varisais, Keerthanas, and Varnams

Track student progress and attendance

Create inclusive, encouraging, and fun learning environments

Collaborate with Vidhyalaya's dance and music teams for performances and showcases

Qualifications

Professional training in Carnatic Music (Degree preferred but not mandatory)

Strong knowledge of Ragam, Talam, and Swaram

Proficiency in Varisais, Keerthanam, and Alankaram

Ability to teach in-person at our Kitchener studio

A collaborative and compassionate personality
