Location: Volkswagen St. John's, NL

Salary: $17.00/hour

Hours: 42.5 Hours per week,7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time, Union

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome all customers warmly, maintaining a positive and professional demeanor while addressing their inquiries and guiding them to the appropriate areas or personnel.
  • Efficiently document customer and vehicle information relevant to the service.
  • Properly tag customer vehicles upon arrival at the dealership, ensuring the application of seat, floor mats and steering wheel covers.
  • Perform initial assessments for wheel alignment.
  • Manage the flow of service traffic to prevent congestion at the drive-thru, ensuring vehicles move through in an orderly and timely manner.
  • Securely store and manage vehicle keys upon receipt.
  • Keep the service drive-thru clean and organized, removing litter, snow, and debris as necessary.
  • Maintain the service lot by rearranging vehicles to optimize space and parking availability and clearing snow and debris when required.
  • Perform Lot Attendant duties as required.
  • Assist with various tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License and Clean Driving Abstract required.
  • Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles (required).
  • Previous experience is an asset.
  • Clear Criminal Background Check required.
  • Applicants must be able to reliably commute to and from work.
  • Steel Toe-Safety Boots required.
