Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant experience, and a passion for the food industry. This role involves managing staff, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring the overall success of the restaurant. The Restaurant Manager will be instrumental in creating a welcoming environment that promotes teamwork, efficiency, and high-quality food service.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, cooking, serving, and food handling to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Manage and train staff members, including interviewing potential team members and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Oversee POS systems such as Veloce for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards in kitchen and dining areas.
  • Lead team management efforts by motivating staff, fostering teamwork, and resolving conflicts effectively.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Implement operational policies to improve efficiency and profitability while maintaining a welcoming hospitality environment.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff on food preparation processes and ensure adherence to food industry standards.

Skills

  • Proven experience in restaurant management with a strong background in food service, hospitality, or related fields.
  • Excellent leadership skills with a history of supervising teams effectively.
  • Proficiency in food safety protocols and food handling procedures.
  • Skilled in using POS systems such as Micros POS for cash handling and order processing.
  • Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, including kitchen experience, food preparation, cooking, serving, and barista experience is a plus.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Experience with interviewing prospective employees and building cohesive teams.
