ABOUT THE ROLE

The individual filling this position shall be accountable for managing and executing all Information Management processes and activities at EPFC. This position will report to the President and will have direct reports. The individual will be required to interface with multiple stakeholders including clients, vendors, engineering teams, construction teams, etc. Key responsibilities are summarized below

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintain and improve EPFC's Information Management system(s) as well as Corporate Information Management
  • Manage EPFC's Information Management standards, procedures, and guidelines for corporate and projects.
  • Assure all EPFC's core documents are controlled, accessible and current at all company and project locations.
  • Assure information flows seamlessly between clients, partners, engineering teams, project execution teams, Commissioning, Start-Up, and Operations
  • Maintain and update EPFC's Master Document Register (MDR) and Document Distribution Matrix (DDM)
  • Provide training to all staff on EPFC's information management systems SharePoint and In House Tools.
  • Assure client requirements are understood and followed.
  • Develop the skills and capability of the Information Management team.
  • Provide technical "information management" solutions to stakeholders.
  • Work with all levels of the organization to help streamline EPFC's communication processes.
  • Build strong working relationships internally within EPFC and externally with our clients and partners.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
  • Degree, diploma or certificate in administration or other applicable area coupled with 10+ years previous Document Control experience and minimum 5 years of management and leadership experience.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or construction company is considered an asset.
  • Experience in Business Change Management including guiding individuals and processes smoothly from their current state to a desired future state. To navigate functional changes in business processes and tools, leading to improved efficiency and adaptability.
  • Experience in understanding, implementation, and in administering current and new systems with tools like SharePoint and In House Tools.
  • Experience with paperless squad checks.
  • Experience with SharePoint and Bluebeam software.
  • Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) Experience preferred.
  • Highly proficient in MS Office including training with vendor and database software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills coupled with the ability to work effectively with all clients, both internal and external.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities; Excellent ability to coordinate and prioritize work and meet short deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, trustworthy, reliable, efficient and a positive team member.
  • Must be legally able to work in Canada.
