Remote, Canada Coachwood Group Full time $120,000 - $180,000 per year

Allow us to introduce ourselves:

Coachwood Group is a Windsor-based portfolio of businesses that owns Biosteel, Canadian Protein, Coachwood Golf & Country Club, Coachwood Capital and a few other companies.

Canadian Protein was just recently awarded "Company of the Year" at the 2024 Business Excellence Awards, while Coachwood Golf & Country Club boasts one of the region's best golf & dining experiences.

Biosteel, our most recent acquisition in 2023 was a powerhouse of a brand that scaled unsustainably and it is our mission to turn it around and continue to offer customers incredible products.

Our passion for success begins with CEO Dan Crosby, who started from humble beginnings selling tubs of protein from his basement. More than 15 years later with nearly 200 employees across several businesses, the same relentless pursuit for success still lies at the heart of everything we do today

Why you will love it here:

So why is Coachwood Group such a great place to work? Our entrepreneurial DNA means we are constantly looking to grow and expand, which creates plenty of opportunities for promotion from within. And because we are locally owned and operated, our close-knit and supportive environment makes it easy to collaborate, learn, and grow alongside colleagues who truly care about each other's success. We trust our employees to take ownership of their work and try to delegate and empower rather than micromanage. Afterall, we don't want this to be just a job, we want it to be your career

About the Role:

We're looking for a Marketplace Growth Manager to lead strategy, accelerate revenue, and elevate performance across Amazon Seller Central, Amazon Vendor Central, Walmart Marketplace, and other third-party platforms. This role blends data-driven decision-making with hands-on execution, category management, and cross-functional leadership to ensure our products win in highly competitive online environments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Drive Marketplace Growth

  • Analyze sales performance, marketplace trends, and customer behaviour to identify high-potential opportunities and guide strategic decision-making.
  • Lead revenue and margin growth initiatives across multiple platforms, ensuring category competitiveness and long-term performance.
  • Evaluate underperforming SKUs and develop repositioning strategies to improve profitability and relevance.
  • Explore new marketplace opportunities and lead onboarding, launch, and growth plans when appropriate.

2. Optimize Listings & Category Performance

  • Own marketplace listing strategy, including titles, images, product content, backend keywords, and A+ content to maximize visibility and conversion.
  • Track competitor activity, pricing movements, and category shifts to maintain a differentiated and competitive assortment.
  • Develop, refine, and maintain SOPs and documentation to support scalable marketplace operations.

3. Lead Go-to-Market Execution

  • Work closely with inventory planning and supply chain teams to ensure forecasting accuracy and avoid stockouts or overstock scenarios.
  • Partner with marketing, creative, and operations teams to plan successful product launches and promotional events.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience managing e-commerce marketplace sales across Amazon (Seller + Vendor) and Walmart Marketplace.
  • Demonstrated track record of growing both revenue and margin in multi-platform environments.
  • Deep knowledge of listing optimization, content best practices, and category merchandising strategy.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights; experience with tools such as Helium 10, Power BI, Data Studio, or similar is a plus.
  • Experience with demand forecasting, inventory planning, and SKU lifecycle management.
  • Skilled collaborator able to work effectively across marketing, supply chain, finance, and operations.
  • Familiarity with advertising levers including PPC, DSP, and marketplace media, with the ability to interpret results and guide direction.
  • Highly adaptable, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, multi-brand environment.
  • Passion for staying current on marketplace trends, tools, and platform updates.
  • Collaborate with the advertising team to review PPC and DSP data, identify insights, and recommend strategic next steps to improve ROI.

Why This Role Matters:

This position plays a critical role in driving our digital growth and strengthening our presence across major marketplaces. You'll help shape strategy, improve performance, and ensure our products reach the right customers at the right time—making a direct and measurable impact on the company's success.

Benefits:

  • Employee discount
  • Vacation pay and holiday pay
  • Opportunities for advancement and career growth
  • On-site parking
  • Positive and collaborative work environment
  • Full training and support
  • Health and safety measures are in place
