The Role: Warehouse, Parts, and Procurement Specialist

We are looking for a proactive and highly organized Warehouse, Parts, and Procurement Specialist for our Williams Lake location to manage our essential supply chain operations. This is a crucial, hands-on role that ensures our field crews have the right materials at the right time.

Key Responsibilities

· Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory levels for all parts, tools, and electrical materials within the warehouse. Conduct regular cycle counts and ensure proper organization.

· Logistics & Distribution: Coordinate the timely distribution of materials to various job sites, including local projects in Williams Lake, throughout BC, and remote locations in the Yukon.

· Purchasing & Procurement: Manage the purchasing process for necessary supplies and equipment, focused on cost-effectiveness and reliable delivery.

· Receiving & Documentation: Process incoming stock, reconcile purchase orders, and manage all related documentation.

· Customer & Sales Support: Handle walk-in customer inquiries, manage local sales invoices, phones, and process payments efficiently.

· Communication: Serve as the primary internal contact for parts availability and requests from field staff.

· Manage shop and vehicle requirements.

Qualifications

· Proven experience in warehouses, inventory management, or procurement is strongly preferred.

· Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· A strong technical aptitude; comfort using inventory management systems or learning new software quickly.

· Ability to perform physical duties associated with warehousing (lifting, moving materials).

· Must be reliable, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

· Must have a valid class 5 driver's license

· Ability to pass pre-access drug & alcohol screening when needed to take materials to jobsite.

· Industrial Electrical knowledge preferred

· Forklift and or Skid Steer experience
