The Ontario Heath West Diagnostic Imaging Central Intake office is a single regional office that will receive referrals from referring providers and route the referral to the appropriate hospital within OH West based on a set of criteria to equalize the wait time for patients. It is a fast paced, high volume department.


• Extensive knowledge of the practice of Medical Imaging in multiple modalities

• Knowledge and understanding of financial management and planning

• Project management, Lean skills and Change Management experience required

• Advanced computer skills and knowledge of hospital processes and systems ( Microsoft Office, PACS, HIS, Peoplesoft, Taleo, , SOR reporting, Budget Tool, Basware, eRTP)

• Graduate of an approved Medical Radiation Sciences Program (Diploma or undergraduate degree) or other relevant health professional experience required

• Master Degree in health administration, business administration preferred 

• 5 years supervisory leadership in a hospital Medical Imaging Department required

• 2 years Project Management preferred 

• 2 years Quality Management preferred 

• Knowledge of Broader Public Sector guidelines

This critical leadership role oversees the Ontario Health West Diagnostic Imaging Central Intake Office, managing the triage and coordination of over one million outpatient CT and MRI requisitions annually across 27 hospital systems.  As a key regional leader, the Manager ensures patients receive timely, appropriate imaging care, while driving commonality of protocols and requisitions across a complex, high-volume system serving over 1,500+ primary care providers and specialists.

Monday to Friday days.
