Position Overview

The Family Wellness Manager is a key leadership role within WOLFE Family Wellness, responsible for supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of our residential healing program. This position is ideal for someone who is grounded in compassion, organization, and cultural respect, and who values creating a safe and welcoming environment for families on their healing journey.

The Family Wellness Manager helps guide staff, supports programming, and ensures that families participating in the program feel heard, supported, and connected. This person will help coordinate activities, assist with scheduling, communicate with partners, and uphold WOLFE's values of community, culture, and holistic wellness.

This role is suited for someone who enjoys working with people, can multitask, and is committed to fostering a positive, culturally inclusive space for families and team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supports the smooth daily operations of WOLFE Family Wellness' 90-day residential healing program
  • Helps guide and support staff while fostering a positive, culturally grounded team environment
  • Ensures families feel welcomed, supported, and safe throughout their healing journey
  • Assists with coordinating daily programming, cultural activities, and wellness routines
  • Manages day-to-day scheduling needs, ensuring programs, staff, and family activities run on time
  • Serves as a primary point of communication for staff, families, and community partners
  • Maintains a respectful, inclusive, trauma-informed environment for all participants
  • Works collaboratively with Elders, knowledge holders, and wellness practitioners
  • Helps address challenges, support solutions, and promote healthy communication
  • Builds strong, trusting relationships with families, staff, and partner organizations
  • Encourages a warm, caring, culturally connected atmosphere in the home
  • Ensures the program space remains safe, organized, and welcoming
  • Prepares routine updates and reports for the Director, keeping leadership informed of program needs and family progress
  • Performs other duties as assigned or required as needs arise

Qualifications

  • A diploma or degree in a human services-related field, such as Social Work, Psychology, Health Sciences, Child and Youth Care, Addiction Studies, or another relevant discipline
  • 3–5 years of experience working in a helping profession or human services environment
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a clear Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Search and an Intervention Record Check
  • Current First Aid and CPR Level C (or willingness to complete within the first three months of employment)
  • Knowledge of Indigenous cultures, histories, and community-based healing practices; Indigenous Awareness Training and Trauma-Informed Care training are considered strong assets
