Ruel Concrete Ltd. - is currently seeking a skilled and reliable Class 1 Dump Truck Driver to join our Peace River, AB team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating a dump truck and/or trail combinations to transport materials to and from various job sites, ensuring timely deliveries and compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate Class 1 dump trucks and trailer combinations efficiently on public roads, constructions sites, and off-road locations.
  • Load and unload materials such as gravel, sand, dirt, debris, and drill cuttings.
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues
  • Maintain accurate logs and delivery records
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies
  • Communicate effectively with Dispatchers and Site Supervisors
  • Assist with minor site tasks, operate loader to load self/other trucks
  • Maintain clean truck interior and exterior

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 1 Canadian Driver's License with Clean driver's abstract
  • Minimum 2 years aggregate hauling and off-road (non highway) truck driving
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends
  • Physically fit to climb in and out of box, staple poly to box, road-side repairs
  • First Aid Certificate, CSO, H2S

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with end-dump trailers, belly dump trailers and spreading, quad wagon, tri-axle pup, tractor and equipment trailers

Wage:

Minimum $33.00 per hour starting wage - depending on experience

90 day probationary period

Self-funded medical, dental, vision plan - post-probation period

* Preference will be given to local driver's and/or persons willing to re-locate prior to commencement
