What You Will DoResponsibilities:
- Receive referrals for Osteopath services from our team of multi-disciplinary professionals
- Perform services under the scope of Osteopathic Manual Therapist
- Work directly with clients in one-on-one sessions to implement Osteopathic treatment plans with the goal of helping patients thrive
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of health care professionals using our innovative holistic collaborative care model
- Maintain client records of sessions and plans and prepare documentation required by insurers and third parties payers
- Participate in staff meetings and clinical excellence labs
- Participate in community events and outreaches
What You NeedQualifications:
New graduates are encouraged to apply
- Graduate of an Osteopathic Manual Therapy degree program
- Licensed to practice (or ability to be by the start date) in Nova Scotia
- Experience or education in treating clients in an outpatient setting is considered an asset
- An appreciation for a holistic approach to health care that emphasizes a whole-person perspective to care
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with other health care professionals
- A commitment to ongoing professional development
