What is the opportunity?

The RBC Enterprise Social Media team leads creative and channel strategies (paid and organic), processes, and governance across the organization.  Reporting into the Senior Manager, Social Media Operations & Campaign Management, this role supports the day-to-day execution of social media campaigns.  This includes launching and monitoring campaigns across various social platforms like Meta and TikTok. Key responsibilities include reviewing media tactics, supporting asset trafficking, archiving and reporting.  This role will also coordinate campaigns and programs with internal marketing teams, platform partners and media agencies.

What will you do?

  • Campaign execution: Building workbacks, launching and monitoring paid social campaigns across channels like Meta, TikTok, Reddit, etc.
  • Asset management: Ensuring timely review, delivery and archiving of creative assets for campaigns.
  • Insights, reporting and performance analysis: Monitoring campaign performance, gathering data, and supporting paid media leads to build reports.  Consistently researching and communicating social trends and platform updates to improve future strategies.
  • Training and Education: Support leader in planning and executing internal educational workshops on various topics like social trends, innovation, new platforms, creators, etc.
  • Cross-functional coordination: Acting as a liaison between internal teams (e.g., marketing, creative) and external media agency partners to ensure smooth execution and alignment. 

What do you need to succeed?

  • Technical skills: Proficiency with paid media platforms (e.g., Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Looker) is essential.  Media agency experience is an asset.
  • Organizational skills: Excellent attention to detail, multitasking abilities, and the capacity to manage project timelines effectively using project management tools.
  • Analytical skills: The ability to analyze data, measure impact against KPIs, and provide actionable insights.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills for coordinating with various teams and stakeholders.
  • Industry knowledge: Staying up-to-date on the latest social media trends and best practices.
