JOB SUMMARY:
OR Royalties is seeking an experienced Mineral Resource Estimator
based in
Montreal or Toronto
. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geological modeling and resource estimation, with proven expertise in
Leapfrog software
. Geologists or Engineers In Training with sufficient expertise and drive are welcome to apply. You will play a key role in supporting data interpretation, geological model development, resource estimation and economic evaluations for a variety of commodities and deposit types. It is a great environment to gain experience and confidence in resource estimation skills and mine economics while guided and mentored by skilled and recognized professionals.

OR Royalties (OR: TSX & NYSE) is an intermediate precious metal royalty company which holds a North American focused portfolio of over 180 royalties, streams, and precious metal offtakes, including 22 producing assets. OR's portfolio is anchored by its cornerstone asset, a 3-5% net smelter return royalty on the Canadian Malartic Complex. OR has deployed over C$3 billion in the metals and mining sector since its inception in 2014.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
§ Analyze geological and assay data from third parties to evaluate risks and opportunities on a variety of deposit types.
§ Undertake site visits on producing and developing mining projects.
§ Develop and update 3D geological models using Leapfrog.
§ Complete resource estimations using various techniques depending on the project.
§ Collaborate with a geologist, mining engineer and financial analysts in a fast-paced environment to evaluate investment metrics.
§ Help prepare presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS:
§ Degree in Geology, Geological Engineering, or a related field.
§ Minimum 2–5 years of experience in mineral resource estimation.
§ Proficiency with Leapfrog.
§ Strong analytical and communication skills.
§ Capacity to work independently to find solutions to deliver on short timelines.
§ Bilingual (English and French) preferred.
