Position Overview

The Autobody Estimator & Client Relations Manager plays a dual and vital role at Custom Touch Autobody. This position combines hands-on estimating and repair coordination with client relationship management and business growth responsibilities.

The ideal candidate is a skilled communicator and problem-solver who understands the autobody repair process and enjoys developing new business opportunities through strong industry relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Estimating & Repair Coordination

  • Inspect damaged vehicles and prepare accurate, detailed repair estimates using industry-standard software (e.g., Audatex, Mitchell, CCC).
  • Communicate with customers, insurance adjusters, and technicians to ensure estimates are transparent and repairs are completed on time and to standard.
  • Coordinate repair timelines, parts ordering, and workflow between departments.
  • Ensure all estimates comply with insurance and OEM repair procedures.
  • Maintain exceptional customer service from intake through delivery, providing timely updates and follow-up.

Business Development & Client Relations

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with insurance partners, dealerships, fleets, and commercial clients.
  • Strengthen relationships with existing clients to promote repeat and referral business.
  • Represent Custom Touch Autobody at community and industry events to enhance visibility and reputation.
  • Collaborate on marketing initiatives and promotions to increase brand awareness.
  • Track business development activities and report on progress, opportunities, and market trends.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an autobody estimator, preferably in a collision repair environment.
  • Strong knowledge of collision repair processes, parts, and materials.
  • Experience with estimating platforms such as Audatex, Mitchell, or CCC.
  • Proven ability in sales, account management, or business development (automotive experience preferred).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and customer focus.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license and clean driving record.
