Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Food & Beverage Manager to oversee daily operations within our hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant and food service experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high-quality service in a fast-paced environment. Previous hotel or restaurant management experience, along with expertise in food preparation, cooking, and POS systems such as Micros POS, will be highly valued. The Food & Beverage Manager will play a key role in supervising team members, overseeing food handling procedures, and ensuring compliance with health regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the food and beverage team to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Oversee daily restaurant operations including food preparation, cooking, serving, and food safety protocols.
  • Manage cash handling processes and POS transactions efficiently using Micros POS or similar systems.
  • Recruit, interview, train, and evaluate staff to maintain a motivated and professional team.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety standards and health regulations across the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff on food quality, presentation, and timely delivery of orders.
  • Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and manage vendor relationships.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly to maintain high customer satisfaction.
  • Implement operational policies that promote efficiency and uphold the establishment's standards of hospitality.
  • Assist in menu planning and development to enhance customer experience while controlling costs.

Qualifications

  • Proven supervising experience in restaurant management or food service environments.
  • Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling procedures.
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS; experience with cash handling is essential.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
  • Demonstrated customer service excellence within the hospitality industry.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for maintaining hygiene standards.
  • Previous experience working in hotels or restaurants is preferred; barista or hospitality experience is a plus.
  • Ability to interview prospective staff members and contribute to team development initiatives.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
