Park Maintenance/Groundskeeper - Revelstoke RV & Cabin Resort





Introduction:

Pinnacle Lifestyles has a need for multiple Park Maintenance/Groundskeepers to join our resort team for the summer camping season. As a Park Maintenance/Groundskeeper, you will work onsite at the Revelstoke RV & Cabin Resort in Revelstoke, British Columbia and be responsible for maintaining the property's grounds and facilities. The successful candidate(s) will have experience related to landscaping or general maintenance and enjoy working outdoors. 

This is a seasonal position running from May to September, with full-time and part-time availability. As a seasonal business, the expectation is that there will be scheduled work on weekends and/or statutory holidays during the summer season. 

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Ensure the property grounds, services and amenities are cleaned and well maintained 
  • Complete daily site clean-up upon guest departure
  • Maintain landscaping and grounds including cutting and raking grass, trimming weeds, laying and removing sod
  • Water plants and maintain trees, shrubs and flowers as needed
  • Assist in general improvement to the resort including but not limited to basic maintenance and painting
  • Garbage/litter removal from site and general cleanup
  • Perform regular cleaning and maintenance of the onsite washroom facilities
  • Ensure the resort grounds, buildings, sites, equipment, roads and facilities are well maintained and operating efficiently
  • Address any customer needs in a timely and efficient manner
  • Engage in friendly and professional communication at all times to support Pinnacle Lifestyle's goal of providing a superior guest experience; and
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years experience in general maintenance, horticulture (ex: landscaping), construction or skilled trades required
  • Previous campground or resort experience is considered an asset
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and customer focused mindset
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Adaptable, flexible and dependable
  • Strong work ethic with a team mentality
  • Physical ability to stand for long hours, lift 50+ lbs and a desire to work in an outdoor environment
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed; and
  • Passion for the outdoors
