Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and cooking, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This role involves preparing ingredients, cooking meals, and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards
  • Assist with meal preparation by chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and assembling dishes
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
  • Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest quality of food handling
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
  • Participate in daily cleaning tasks, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces

Experience

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
