General Description

This position involves going to and from a client's site in a company vehicle to transport client samples as well as shipping and receiving samples in our warehouse.

Education

High School Diploma

Shifts

This is a part-time position that requires the successful candidate to work at least 3 shifts a week. The shifts will be on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid G driver's license and clean driving record.
• Experience driving company vehicles or similar vehicles is preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry samples weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations.
• Computer skills an asset.

Responsibilities

• Sample Pickup:
• Safely and efficiently pick up samples from designated locations.
• Ensure samples are properly secured for transport to prevent damage or loss.
• Sample Transport:
• Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently to transport samples to designated locations.
• Follow designated routes and schedules for pick-ups and deliveries.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies regarding safe driving practices.
• Documentation:
• Maintain accurate records of sample pick-ups, deliveries, and any related documentation.
• Report any issues or discrepancies with sample quantities or condition to appropriate personnel.
• Other Duties:
• Perform minor maintenance checks on company vehicles.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients during pick-ups and deliveries.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by management.
• Warehouse Duties:
• Preparing, organizing, shipping, and receiving samples and supplies.
• Organizing boxes and skids for disposal or return.
• Delivering supply shipments internally.
• Ensure that damaged parcels or samples are reported immediately.
• Updating logs, excel files, or the storage program as required for samples and supplies.
• Pulling necessary pulps and rejects for additional or refires and ensuring that all pulps and rejects are stored appropriately using the storage program.
• Ensure maintenance and janitorial tasks are performed daily.
• Be Safety oriented with all aspects of the job.
