Overview

Global Communications consists of three specialism-based teams: Strategic Communications (which is comprised of three pillars: the Global Reputation Campaigns and Programs team, the Media Relations & Issues Management team and the Social Media team), Internal Communications, and Leadership Communications.

This role will focus on internal communications business partnering key areas of the firm, working with senior KPMG International leaders and their teams to plan and deliver effective internal communication programs in support of our Trust & Growth strategy. 

What you will do
  • Acting as internal communications business partner to senior leaders and their support teams, building trusted advisor relationships with them
  • Develop, manage and execute compelling internal communication programs aimed at supporting the delivery of key business areas programs and objectives
  • Develop strong and trusted relationships with senior leaders and their support teams, understanding their commercial priorities and how internal communications can support their objectives
  • Deliver and execute effective internal communications in support of the business strategy, and in alignment with Global Communications strategy
  • Leverage KPMG communications channels to effectively communicate to all levels of the global environment, as well as how to reach local audiences, leveraging local networks as appropriate
  • Bringing innovative and creative thinking to the table, working with designated leaders to deliver best-in-class internal communications
What you bring to the role
  • An internal communications professional with at least seven years of experience (minimum of three years at a management level) with demonstrable experience in senior internal communications business partnering
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Strong influencing and communication skills to act professionally, calmly and persuasively when dealing with key internal stakeholders
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to get buy-in and support for projects from diverse and often widespread stakeholders. Experience of the above in a global, matrix context would be advantageous
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, with an ability to grasp business objectives and translate into actionable technical and functional requirements
  • Experience working with senior management
