Job Description:
Manage relationships with internal stakeholders/leaders/re to understand business objectives and lead the development of actionable business insights through advanced data analysis, visualization and storytelling to help inform and support business decisions at the highest level.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
CUSTOMER
Lead the design, development, and delivery of complex data analyses, dashboards, strategic insights that drive business decisions and performance improvements across TD Procurement.
Translate business challenges into analytical frameworks and identify opportunities for growth, efficiency, or risk mitigation.
Partner with senior stakeholders to frame problems, shape hypotheses, and influence data-driven decisions.
Drive development of KPIs and performance measurement frameworks aligned to organizational goals.
Ensure team collaboration with key stakeholders on business problems/issues and provide fact-based analytical advice that aligns to strategy and drives shareholder value
Manage escalated stakeholder issues or priorities and reach out to appropriate areas to resolve or minimize business problems/issues
Apply judgement, discretion and collaborate with internal partners to navigate and resolve ambiguous issues
Review and/or contribute on the presentation of insights back to executive leaders / business partners to drive strategic improvement; also responsible for contributing to overall direction of team regarding emerging tools/ techniques/ methods in presenting or visualizing key information
Collaborate with business partners to shape and prioritize ad hoc analysis
SHAREHOLDER
Leverage data systems and various sources to ensure team is equipped to formulate well defined solutions to solve business problems
Ensure team leverages knowledge of data capabilities across the organization to build and deliver on business analytics and insights
Oversee the development and ongoing analysis for a business line or functional area employing both internal and external data from various sources
Support execution with excellence on key initiatives/programs
Design effective test and learn for various programs or scenarios
Develop business specific plans; ensure work and resources are aligned to support objectives
Identify opportunities for business growth within a specific business or function by identifying potential use cases and value drivers
Proactively support the identification of issues, trends and opportunities, and bring forward recommendations based on judgment and facts
Lead team to prepare framework to succinctly take complex data and translate it into clear and concise recommendations
Ensure deep understanding and contribute to the achievement of the business strategy, goals, and objectives

BREADTH & DEPTH
Ensure an integrated approach with other business management areas, broader organization, and enterprise as appropriate
Deep knowledge and understanding of businesses / technology, and organizational practices/ disciplines
Sound to advanced knowledge of external competition, industry and/or market trends in relation to own function / business
Focus on short to medium-term issues (e.g. 6-12 months)
Generally, reports to a Senior Manager or above
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
Undergraduate degree or technical certificate in Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field
7+ years of experience in business analytics, insights, or related roles, preferably in a complex or regulated industry (e.g., finance, healthcare, technology)
Expertise in data analysis and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Excel,
Skilled in coding and scripting with Python/R to support business intelligence and analytics workflows.
Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience managing cross-functional projects and leading analytics workstreams.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Experience supporting executive decision-making and strategic planning.
Exposure to CRM, ERP, and financial systems data, e.g. SAP Ariba
Familiarity with cloud-based analytics platforms (e.g., Azure)
