Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting principles and practices, with proficiency in various accounting software. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing insightful financial analysis to support business decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
  • Perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation to maintain accurate financial statements.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to support corporate finance initiatives.
  • Conduct audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, PeopleSoft, Sage, and other tools for efficient bookkeeping and financial management.
  • Support payroll processing and ensure accurate employee compensation records.
  • Provide account analysis to identify discrepancies or areas for improvement in financial processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial reporting and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in accounting roles with a solid understanding of corporate finance principles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Xero, PeopleSoft, Sage, and other relevant tools.
  • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping practices and auditing standards.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate financial reporting.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders effectively.
