On-Call Rescue Technicians – Vancouver Island, BC
Join our standby rescue team at Pacific Ropes
We're looking for Confined Space Rescue and First Aid professionals who want to stay active, gain more experience, and be part of a trusted on-call team. At Pacific Ropes, we work with clients across Vancouver Island who need reliable standby rescue and first aid support for their projects.
We're building a local network of responders who can be called in for:
- Confined space entry monitoring
- Emergency first aid coverage
- Short-term rescue standby work
What to Expect:
- Flexible schedule: You choose when you're available. We'll reach out when shifts match your schedule.
- Variety: Some callouts are one day; others may run a few weeks.
- Team environment: You'll work alongside experienced rope access and rescue professionals who have your back.
This is a great fit if you're between contracts, want to keep your rescue skills sharp, or enjoy being part of a team that helps keep others safe.
Qualifications:
- Confined Space Rescue Certificate
- Advanced First Aid (OFA 3) or Intermediate First Aid (OFA 2)
- EMR Certificate
- Rope Access certification is an asset, or willingness to learn in the future

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
