Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Snow Plow Operator to join our team. This position involves operating snow removal equipment to ensure safe and accessible roadways during winter weather conditions. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience with various tools and equipment related to landscaping and maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Operate snow plow and other related equipment efficiently during snow events.
  • Clear roadways, parking lots, and sidewalks of snow and ice to maintain safety for vehicles and pedestrians.
  • Perform routine maintenance on snow removal equipment, including checks on mechanical systems, hand tools, and power tools.
  • Collaborate with team members to coordinate snow removal efforts effectively.
  • Assist in landscape maintenance tasks as needed, including gardening, irrigation, and horticulture duties during off-season periods.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations while operating machinery and performing maintenance tasks.

Experience

  • Previous experience as a Snow Plow Operator or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Familiarity with excavators, landscape maintenance, gardening, irrigation systems, and horticulture practices is advantageous.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain equipment effectively.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
