Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paint Prep professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing vehicles for painting, ensuring surfaces are clean and ready for application. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive repair processes and the ability to work with various tools and equipment in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking areas to ensure proper paint adhesion.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to perform tasks such as grinding, sanding, and polishing.
  • Assist in the disassembly and reassembly of vehicle parts as needed during the paint preparation process.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify any imperfections or areas needing additional attention before painting.
  • Collaborate with the painting team to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are stored properly after use.

Job description

We're looking for a team focused Prep/Paint Technician who is passionate about performing good quality repairs as efficiently as possible. This person will be responsible to work with other members in the prep, paint and body department to ensure all vehicles move through the departments as efficiently as possible while maintaining outstanding quality and service of repairs.
