What you'll do

  • Provide outstanding customer service by welcoming guests and taking their orders with enthusiasm.
  • Utilize Micros POS systems to process orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
  • Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld during food preparation and service.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of meals while maintaining high culinary standards.
  • Manage multiple tables effectively while demonstrating excellent time management skills.
  • Assist in bussing tables and maintaining a clean dining environment for all guests.
  • Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.

Basic qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and cash handling responsibilities.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus.
  • Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with fine dining standards and practices enhances your candidacy.
  • Background in hospitality or guest services will set you apart from the competition.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
